Creepy Things (Self-Assembling?) in Antibiotic Eye Drops -Part 1

Whether these are natural, or technological, it might be time to search for alternatives. (See links to alternatives below).

I’m not sure what I was watching exactly, but it looked like it could have been the creation of something oblong and scary. You know - a bit like a worm. I was taking videos of moving particles when I thought I saw a procedure(?) taking place. It could have been natural, rather than technological, of course, but that and many other creepy things in the sample, nearly made the hair on my arms stand up.

Unfortunately, for me, the stage clip holding the slide in place on my microscope moved out of position suddenly, while I was switching to brightfield. This left the final product something of a mystery.

This wasn’t the only thing in the sample that came into being after it had been sitting for 20 minutes or more. There were plant-like structures, and crystal-like ones too. For an antibiotic preparation that supposedly contained only synthetic products: a synthetically-produced antibiotic; a synthetic corticosteroid; and one other entirely synthetic component; the forms that took shape as time passed made little sense. There were some unnamed excipients, of course. Why do they even bother typing in the word: ‘excipients,’ if they aren’t going to list them? (Please note: I’ve been advised not to name specific medical product brands, but I’ll leave helpful hints when I can, such as those given above).

My adventure started off innocently enough. I noticed that some particles were joining other particles near the edge of the sample. It looked like a party, so started recording videos:

So far, so good. Just particles collecting…

Before watching the horror/thriller films below, keep in mind that there are some alternative treatments for eye infections. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS TO YOURSELF! (I’ve included some links to videos on alternative treatments for eye infections down below.)

The videos that follow really turn my stomach; not so much because the particles involved look like they could be constructing something, but because some of their activities remind me of surgery. If this happens to you, remember: the particles seen hovering close to the main object, could be moving near it for unrelated reasons.

Did you notice the space between the top end of the object (on the left) and the main body? I wonder if the particle on the far left is coming to help?

If I had to speculate about what the main object above would have looked like in Brightfield, I’d say it might have looked something like this:

In other parts of the sample, it looked like strands, such as the one seen above, might be produced by clumps like those in Pictures #2 and #3, below.

There were A LOT of clumps like that. But, I’m not sure what they were.

There were several other strange forms in the sample. Some of them resembled plants, but appeared to be, at least partly, composed of crystal-like shapes.

I have good reason to believe, the innocent-looking plant-like shapes seen in Pictures #4 and #5 turned into something that looked a lot scarier later on.

The primary structure seen in Picture #6 may represent a more mature version of those seen in Pictures #4 and #5. Here’s a video that highlights more of the structure:

Is the object in Video #6 producing producing crystals, or vice versa? Are these salt crystals, or something else? What do you think?

I have used an MMS dilution formula in the past to help treat an eye infection. It worked really well! Having forgotten the formula I used, I looked for one online, and found this on the Chlorine Dioxide Forum at https://mmsforum.io/index.php/list/welcome/19149-mms-for-eye-infection

"§ MMS as Eye drops
For conjunctivitis or other eye infections, put 4 drops of activated MMS in a half cup of water. It should be purified or distilled water. Using an eye dropper, put one or two drops in the affected eye or eyes. Blink a few times to be sure the liquid penetrates into the eye thoroughly and use a second drop if needed. Do this 4 or 5 times a day until the eye is well.”
